This kit simplifies and modernizes the rear axle of your VW, changing it from the old unsealed twin tapered roller bearing to a modern single sealed double roller bearing similar to what is on the front of the car. No more setting bearing lash/resistance by feel, now you simply tighten the new locknut and go. Full provisions and compatible with ABS.
